I wish I had grace; that my tongue dripped silver and spun sugar instead of jagged, cut glass. I wish my feet fell like autumn leaves on the breeze and not haphazard horseshoes in a lawn game. I am cumbersome, burdensome, too much and then some. I can’t be proper or perfect… just simply enough.
