Taking on a job that involves a lot of reading means, well, a lot of reading. I have visions of getting to December 31 and, frantic and red-eyed, forgetting exactly what moved and inspired me in the several months prior. Since we don’t want that, I thought it might be prudent to start tallying the 2012 releases I’ve really enjoyed.
Here’s what has stuck with me these past few months:
A Week to be Wicked, by Tessa Dare (historical romance)
Bared to You, by Sylvia Day (erotic romance, contemporary)
At Your Pleasure, by Meredith Duran (historical romance)
A Gentleman Undone, by Cecilia Grant (historical romance)
A Little More Scandal, by Carrie Lofty (historical romance, e-novella)
Starlight, by Carrie Lofty (out 6/26, historical romance)
The Governess Affair, by Courtney Milan (historical romance, e-novella)
The Siren, by Tiffany Reisz (out in paperback 7/24, erotic fiction, contemporary)
Yes, I read a lot of historical romance. There are other things on my TBR list…which you really don’t want to know the size of. Between catching up on 2011 and staying atop of 2012, I’ve given up most of my TV watching! (Sacrilege, I know!)
I’m already compiling a post for July…
